Passing the Torch: A New Chapter for Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe
After 27 unforgettable years of crafting chocolates, building community, and wrapping thousands of sweet gifts, I’m excited (and a little emotional) to share some big news: Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe is entering a new chapter.
I’m officially passing the torch to Tara & Rick Cerpa, a wonderful local couple who love Suzi’s just as much as I do. As lifelong fans of the shop, they understand the heart and soul that goes into every truffle, chocolate-dipped strawberry, and custom gift basket. And they’re committed to preserving everything that makes Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe so special.
But don’t worry, this isn’t goodbye! I’ll be staying on during the transition to help guide Rick and Tara, share every cherished recipe, and offer support and consulting for as long as they need. My goal is to make sure that everything you love about Suzi’s, from the handmade treats to the personal service remains exactly the same.
Reflecting on nearly three decades of sweet memories, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you to every customer who walked through our doors, placed a holiday order, shared our chocolates with loved ones, or just stopped by to say hello. You’ve been the heartbeat of this business and my inspiration every single day.
