Celebrate 25 Sweet Years of Gourmet Chocolate With Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe
During the public anniversary celebration, attendees will enjoy a live broadcast hosted by Thunder 106, face painting, a prize wheel, and even a hot dog cart! This family-fun event is meant to celebrate years of community, family, and chocolate, as these are all pillars in which owner Susan Hordych has grown her business with. “Family has always been the center of Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe,” she explains. “When my husband and I started this together in 1998 with our homemade chocolates and fudge, our family was beginning to grow, and as it did, so did their involvement in the shoppe.”
Over the years, customers may know and recognize many of Susan’s family members including her sisters, daughters, son, and niece from their time working at the shoppe. It’s also possible to recognize Susan from her beautiful displays and artistry for creating gift baskets, party favors, and corporate branded treats that she believes make an impression on recipients. “Corporate gifting is a very distinctive field, and there’s not many people who can do what I do for my corporate clients. Not only can I help show their appreciation for those they do business with, but I also help them share something memorable that their customers look forward to each year.”
As a Certified Gift Designer, Susan continues to learn and innovate methods to showcase her chocolate confectionaries with a special flair for providing family, corporate, and community events with decadent chocolates, confectionery platters, and favors. One such basket is making its way to the Shore Builders Association’s Professional Women in Building’s charity event for the Collier Youth Group this coming holiday season. Recently given as a door prize at Susan’s corporate anniversary party, the winner and Susan have decided to donate the beautiful basket and uphold Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe’s long-standing support of local charitable and non-profit organizations. With ties to community organizations like Michaels Feat, March of Dimes, Red Bank Rotary, and many more, including local schools, Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe has always sought to deliver something sweet to those who matter most.
From family to community to the corporate sector, Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe has not only built a delicious reputation over their 25-years of business, but also one that’s just as sweet as their chocolates. From the Best of Monmouth Awards to award-winning gift designs, Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe is the one-stop shopping experience for family, corporate, and all-occasion gifts, favors, and party platters.
